The new year is well underway, and SMART has decided we’re no longer satisfied with being the best kept secret in the world of recovery. Frankly, we’re kind of tired of hearing from people who tell us how they wish they knew about us sooner, either as professionals in the field or personally as they seek recovery. We don’t want to fly under the radar anymore, we want to soar in the sunlight of hope and healing!

Part of this effort includes inviting community organizations, behavioral health professionals, and treatment facilities to become our partners in spreading the word about the rich possibilities of recovery from substance misuse and other negative behaviors.

SMART believes that there are multiple pathways to successful recovery, and that an individual deserves to be given an opportunity to choose the path that they think will work best for them. That is why we have developed our Multiple Pathways Partner Program (current MPP directory here) to identify and promote organizations and treatment providers who authentically support individuals seeking a recovery approach that makes sense for them.

Anyone committed to transforming the recovery landscape by promoting multiple pathways to recovery can participate. Our pathway is compatible with whatever you are already offering at your facility. We partner with treatment centers, recovery residences, RCOs, non-profit organizations, and individual practitioners.

We’ve collectively been talking about multiple pathways to recovery for a while now. It’s time to work together to make the promise of multiple pathways a reality for your clients and all who are seeking a balanced and purposeful life beyond addictive behaviors. Research has indicated that as many as 30% of SMART Recovery participants also participate in 12-step fellowships.

We look forward to welcoming you into our emerging national community of practice. Visit HERE to review partnership options. If there’s something unique about your organization and the way that you’d like to partner with us, we’d love to talk more about that. We look forward to connecting with you!
